Third Graders Vote to Keep Levi During Mock Town Council Meeting
In May, third graders from Primrose Hill, Sowams, and Nayatt Schools stopped by Barrington Town Hall to learn about local government. While there, they participated in a mock Town Council meeting and talked about whether Levi, the Town’s comfort dog, should be traded for a cat named Mr. Pudge. Afterward, everyone agreed Levi should stay. The experience gave the kids a firsthand sense of how choices are made.
